From January's snow to October...my how the time has gone by fast. We've had a lot accomplished this year and I will tell you about the first one. Our tree area was so overgrown with invasive plants and trash dumps from the previous owners it was time to get it cleared. On April 19th we hired a bobcat worker. What a beautiful difference he and his sons made. Unfortunately there was so much glass broken all over the place when they were done. Using leaf rakes Evan and I were able to get a lot of it out. It was interesting to see all the different kinds of bottles. There were lots of pint alcohol bottles and several unbroken Coke bottles as well. Two stream areas still need to have the glass shoveled out. I'm sure we will be picking up glass until the day we die. It is a good feeling to know we have restored nature so it can prosper once again.
